Translation is not an easy process, especially when you deal with technical fields such as medicine, biology or pharmacology. 

A poor translation may damage your credibility; a technical translation must therefore only be given to a translator who has experience in the field(s) he/she translates.

Throughout my scholarship and my professional life, I have acquired and deepen my knowledge of medicine and related fields (pharmacology, biology, toxicology, sciences, etc.).

I am therefore in a position to answer any translation request about these subjects.

I proofread every text I translate ; out of concern for quality and confidentiality, I do not delegate the work to another person.

In order to be as meticulous as possible, I use a computed-aided translation software (CAT). This software helps me to be consistent with the terms used and to save time. In your case, it even helps you to save money!

Editing a text means that the target text (the translation) is read carefully and compared to the source text (the original text). In this case, I have to spot the potential errors in language, terminology and/or translation and to correct grammar, syntax and spelling errors.

When I edit a text, I send you back 2 copies of the target text: a "clean" copy, with no comments, that you could use right away; and a "revised" copy (you can still see the editing markers).

Unlike the editing process, the proofreading process does not need the source text. When I proofread a text, I do not have access to the original document.

Therefore, I can only correct grammar, syntax, or spelling mistakes.

When I proofread a text, I send you back 2 copies of the target text: a "clean" copy, with no comments, that you could use right away; and a "revised" copy (you can still see the proofreading markers). 

For transcription, I use your audio/video file and write what the speakers are saying. I also write the timing down: this way, I enable you to use this transcription for subtitles.

If your file is in English, I can offer you a complete service, consisting of the transcription + the translation of your document.
